Fascinating Rhythm was established from a small singing group set up in 1995.
Fascinating Rhythm strive for musical excellence through regular rehearsal and dedication from our members, but we are about so much more than singing. We recognise the value of teamwork, community, extended social networks, peer support and the all-important health benefits of being with like-minded people and singing.
We are proud to be members of LABBS (Ladies Association of British Barbershop Singers) and we regularly take part in the national convention. This barbershop competition sees many choruses taking part from across the UK. We also benefit from high-level education provided by LABBS including singing, music, performance and club management, LABBS provide an annual rolling program of events, training and access to high-level coaching. There are around 60 choruses with LABBS membership.
You will find us singing wherever we can, at local and national events, shows and competitions. We have hosted harmony workshops and held educational events.
Fascinating Rhythm supports various charities through singing, and we regularly dedicate our efforts to a chosen Charity of the Year.
